This policy covers beecogreenbag.com, the website of Be Eco Green, a maker of compostable and biodegradable bags based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (“we”, “us”). We are a small business. We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and supply your order.
What we collect
When you ask for a quote
The quote form asks for your name, your WhatsApp number and the bag you are interested in. You can also add your business name, the quantity, whether you want your logo printed, and a message. Only the name, number and bag are required.
When you contact us directly
If you call, WhatsApp or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to tell us, such as your requirements, artwork or delivery city.
When you browse the site
Like most websites, the server that hosts this site keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time). These are used to keep the site running and secure.
How the quote form works
The form does not store anything on this website. When you press send, your details are sent securely to our own web server, which emails them to our team and does not keep a copy. To prevent abuse, the server briefly keeps a scrambled, non-readable record of the sender’s IP address and the time of the request, for up to one day. If you prefer, you can skip the form and message us on WhatsApp instead; that conversation is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.
Why we use your details
- To reply to your enquiry and send you a quote.
- To process, print, deliver and invoice your order, and to keep the records the law requires (for example, for GST).
- To follow up on an order or quote you asked about.
We do not sell, rent or trade your details. We do not add you to a marketing list without asking you first.
Who we share it with
We share details only when it is needed to do the job you asked for:
- courier and transport partners, to deliver your order;
- our accountant and tax authorities, where the law requires it;
- the services we use to communicate and run the site, such as WhatsApp, email and our web host.
This website is developed and hosted by CloudFigma.
Cookies, storage and analytics
This site does not set its own cookies. It uses your browser’s session storage for one small thing: remembering that you have already seen the WhatsApp chat pop-up, so it does not keep appearing. That note is cleared when you close the tab.
We may use Google Analytics to count visits and to see which buttons are used (for example, how many people tap “WhatsApp” or send a quote request). If it is turned on, Google Analytics sets its own cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type. We use it only as totals, to improve the site. You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or with Google’s opt-out add-on (opens in new tab), and the site will still work.
Links to other sites
Our pages link to WhatsApp, Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook and other sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as they are useful for your quote or order. We keep order and invoice records for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. After that, we delete them.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable care to protect your details and limit who can see them. No method of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information (such as bank passwords or ID numbers) through the form or chat.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal details we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email info@beecogreenbag.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We handle personal data in line with India’s applicable data protection laws.
Children
This site is meant for businesses. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
